We have 3 tastefully decorated units. Each has.....:
- 2 bedrooms-1 queen and 1 twin.
- A spacious lounge with pull out divan. Each unit can sleep 4 to 6 comfortably.
- Sound system, complete with CDs and videos for your enjoyment.
- Freeview TV in all units
- Kitchenette equipped with cooking facilities, dishes and cutlery: gas BBQ area available
- Large private bathroom with toilet, shower and bath.
- Automatic washing machine, clothes line, iron, access to dryer.
- Private telephone for local and international calls, access to fax .
- Large deck with natural surroundings.
The Homestead is 2 kms from Portobello which has a small grocery store,
the Village Takeaways and the 1908 Restaurant.

NZ$145 single/double, $25 each extra adult,
$15 each extra child
- Tariff covers GST and includes breakfast provisions left in your room for you to prepare at your leisure.
- Off season discounts may apply.

Cancellation Policy:

To make a reservation we do need your credit card details
We do not charge against it but is held as a guarantee until you arrive
- If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before check in, or if no show, then one nights tariff will be charged.

The Homestead is situated on our property first developed in the mid 1800's. We are 25 minutes from Dunedin, just 2 km past Portobello village.
Minutes away are the Royal Albatross Colony, Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve, Glenfalloch Gardens and Larnach Castle.
The peninsula boasts beautiful scenery, secluded beaches, volcanic land forms, tidal inlets, and rugged hills.
It is a great place for walking, tramping, water sports or just relaxing. |
